Mummy almost caught me taking a few steps...

Apparently I have an affiliation with the washing basket just like my furry big sister!

12 MONTHS OLD!!!!!!

Weigh in - 8.42kgs | Height - 70cm
I have 8 teeth, 6 at the top (which include 2 molars) and only 2 at the bottom. I am an expert crawler, although sometimes I go too fast and seem to have a permanent graze on my chin. I love to climb... anything. I am not quite talking but can make lots of hand gestures including twinkle, twinkle little star, pointing at anything and everything that I want, clapping, beckoning and stating 'all gone' with palms up. I am so close to walking, but am in no hurry. I can stand up all by myself and play with my toys but haven't as yet taken a step. I am very good at giving kisses and cuddles to mummy, daddy and all my toys. I can feed myself with a spoon, although mummy says it is a very slow process. I even help mummy clean up sometimes. My favourite place to play the moment, apart from my new paddling pool, is the washing basket...

my paddle pool

I love my new paddle pool! When it gets hot enough mummy is going to put this outside, fill it with water and let me have a lovely splash around. At the moment it is inside, in the conservatory with balls and balloons to play with - it is so much fun. And it is even big enough for mummy and daddy to get in a play with me too!!!
I can even get in all by myself...

CAKE

At first I wasn't too sure about this cake business, but I tried it, eventually and it was yummy!

Wow - look at all these presents! Thank you!! I celebrated my 1st birthday 2 days early so I could share the entire day with daddy too. Jaynie and Robbie were also visiting for the weekend - we had so much fun!

...is full of treasures!! I had a lovely time pulling everything out of mummy's bag and discovered her purse! Look out shops, here I come with the credit card.
